Joyce RachelleI was born and raised in the Philippines, currently based in England; nurse by day, writer by night and every other space in between. Born again of water and the Spirit (John 3:5) when I was 11 and I haven’t looked back since.

This is my personal blog. It’s where my words go that don’t find themselves in the pages of the book I’m working on. Generally my posts fall under poetry, books, and modern Christianity — often not mutually exclusive. As followers of Jesus, we are in the world but not of the world (John 17:14-16) and therefore face the same challenges available to every other person we meet. The human struggle to conquer this dilemma is the main focus of this blog. I typically post once a month.

I publish quotes and musings on Instagram. I do that 3-5 times a week.

Twitter is where you can read about the things I learn about writing and see what I’m generally up to. I haven’t clearly decided how often I’m on Twitter yet, but if you follow me, you’ll find out!
